This is a true crime tv miniseries that chronicles the series of rapes in Washington State and Colorado from 2008 to 2011 and is based on T. Christian Miller and Ken Armstrong’s 2015 news article titled “An Unbelievable Story of Rape’ and their 2008 book based on the same research titled “A False Report”.
The plot follows teenager Marie who was charged for falsely reporting to have been raped and two detectives taking a twisted path to find out the truth.

This limited series is based on A’Lelia Bundles’ biography ‘On Her Own Ground’ and chronicles the story of the first Black and self-made female millionaire of America- Madam C. J. Walker as she becomes the mogul of black hair care while overcoming all kinds of hostilities.
