What Had Previously Happened In Episode 4 Of Kaiju No.8?
In episode 4 of Kaiju No. 8, Kafka Hibino, despite his broken leg, pushed himself to continue the exam. Unable to walk, he relied on Ichikawa to carry him. Meanwhile, Kikoru swiftly defeated all the enemies on her own.
She faced the final challenge, a powerful opponent called Honju, and easily defeated it, ending the exam. However, a new enemy, a humanoid Kaiju, emerged and attacked her, reviving the defeated enemies. Despite her efforts, Kikoru was overpowered and hurt.
Kafka intervened, revealing his own abilities to transform and defeat the enemies. Ultimately, everyone survives thanks to Kikoru and Kafka’s efforts.
The episode ends with the revelation that the humanoid Kaiju can transform into a human and is somehow connected to Kafka and Ichikawa’s old cleanup crew.
