Tony Basgallop created the upcoming dark comedy workplace thriller tv series ‘The Consultant’ adapted from Bentley Little’s same-named novel. The plot revolves around a man Regus Patoff who gets hired as a consultant by CompWare, an app-based gaming company.

After the bow-tie-wearing Mr. Patoff begins his work apparently through running the company, the employees start to experience new challenges which question everything including the employees’ lives.

Australian German actor and Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz has been cast in the role of the lead character Mr. Patoff in the upcoming series. Other primary cast members include Nat Wolff, Brittany O’Grady, and Aimee Carrero.

There are a number of other television series that you should definitely give a try if you are intrigued by the storyline of ‘The Consultant’. The series is scheduled to be released on February 24, 2023, on Amazon Prime Video.

The plot revolves around Mark, a severed employee who gradually finds himself uncovering a web of conspiracy.

American actor, producer, and comedian Adam Scott have portrayed Mark in the series. It gained acclamation from both critics and viewers acquiring a 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes. The series won a number of accolades including Primetime Emmy nominations and Critics Choice Award nominations. The series premiered on February 18, 2022, on Apple TV+.

WeCrashed – Number of Seasons: 1

Drew Crevello created this American drama miniseries ‘WeCrashed’ that is based on Wonders podcast titled ‘WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork’.

The plot of the series revolves around a real-life married couple Adam and Rebekah Neumann whose love story becomes the central driving factor of the rise and fall of WeWork, one of the most valuable startups in the world. The company turns into a global brand worth $47 billion from a single co-working space in only one decade. But its heyday reaches a devastating crush as its valuation plummets in less than a year.

Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway have portrayed Adam and Rebekah respectively in the series. It ran from March 18 to April 22 of 2022 on Apple TV+.

Elizabeth Meriwether created this biographical crime drama miniseries that is based on ABC News produced Rebecca Jarvis’ same-named podcast. The plot surrounds the real-life former biotechnology entrepreneur Elizabeth Holmes who was a convicted fraudster and her rise and fall revolving around her company called Theranos. The show also navigates the experiences since her preteens that could motivate her lies and deceptions in a linear fashion.

‘Mean Girls‘ famed Amanda Seyfried has portrayed Elizabeth Holmes in the series. British-American actor Naveen Andrews starred as Holmes’ then-boyfriend Sunny Balwani who was also convicted fraudster for being the chief operating officer and president of Theranos.

The series won six Primetime Emmy nominations including Seyfried winning an Emmy as Outstanding Lead Actress. The series ran from March 3 to April 7 of 2022.

The plot surrounds a number of young finance graduates who find themselves venturing into the harshly competitive world to find a job such a time when the competition has turned even more ruinous due to the recession times following the financial crisis of 2008.
