A new romantic comedy is coming this Christmas under the direction of Janeen Damian. The screenplay of ‘Falling for Christmas’ is written by Jeff Bonnett and Ron Oliver and the movie is produced by Michael Damian and Brad Krevoy. The movie stars Lindsay Lohan in her first onscreen role after a long time break.
The movie is going to be a significant one for both the actress and her fans as it marks her first role in a major production after more than a decade of career setbacks amidst recovery efforts from addiction to legal issues.

Falling for Christmas Plot
The plotline of Falling for Christmas will revolve around a hotel heiress, spoilt and newly engaged, whose life gets entangled with that of a working-class lodge owner. The heiress named Sierra Belmont goes through total amnesia due to a skiing accident.
After that, she finds herself in that lodge owner, Jake’s care. Jake’s precocious daughter also accompanies them during the days approaching Christmas.

Lindsay Lohan-
Playing the protagonist hotel heiress Sierra Belmont, American actress Lindsay Lohan has been cast in the movie.
Lohan’s sister Aliana Lohan has also acted in it as a stylist. Lindsay Lohan made her film debut in the 1998 romantic comedy movie ‘The Parent Trap’ as lead character Hallie Parker and Annie James.
Her other leading roles in movies include ‘Freaky Friday’, ‘Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen’, ‘Mean Girls, ‘Herbie: Fully Loaded, ‘Just My Luck, ‘Georgia Rule’, ‘I Know Who Killed Me, ‘Labor Pains’, and ‘The Canyons’.
With ‘Falling for Christmas’, Lohan is also set to star in another upcoming movie ‘Irish Wish’ that will release in 2023.
Lohan also starred in a recurring role in the American soap opera ‘Another World as Alexandra Fowler or Alli from 1996 to 1997. In 2008 Lohan played the role of Kimmie Keegan in ABC’s comedy-drama series ‘Ugly Betty. As Katerina West, she was cast in the British black comedy tv series ‘Sick Note’ in 2018.
Chord Overstreet-
The blue-collar lodge owner Jake is played by American actor-musician Chord Overstreet in the upcoming movie.
He played the lead role of Nick in the 2015 comedy movie ‘4th Man Out’. He also starred in the films The Hole’ and ‘A Warrior’s Heart. Overstreet portrayed Sam Evans in the American musical comedy series ‘Glee’ from season four to season six as the main character and from season two and season three as a recurring character from 2010 to 2015.
In 2021 he played the main character of Chad Davies in the comedy series ‘Acapulco’.
George Young-
British actor and television presenter George Young is also cast in the upcoming movie. He starred as Nick Yoshihara in the 2010 Indian Hindi language rom-com ‘Jhootha Hi Sahi’. As an Infectious Diseases doctor, Dr. Victor Cannerts acted in the drama series ‘Containment’.
Young was also cast in the erotic movie ‘In the Room’ in 2016. In Parts one and two of the indie comedy movie, ‘A Bread Factory’ Young starred as Ray in 2018. He was cast as Detective Kekoa Shaw in the 2021 American horror movie ‘Malignant’ that was released in 2021.

As Beauregard Belmont, American actor-singer Wagner will be seen in the upcoming movie. In the 1990 Argentine-American crime movie ‘Play Murder for Me’ he played the lead role of Paul Slater.
From 1991 to 1993 he starred as Warren Lockridge as a main cast member in NBC’s American soap opera ‘Santa Barbara. Then from 1994 to 1999, he played Dr. Peter Burns in the prime-time tv soap opera ‘Melrose Place.
Nick Marone, was cast as the main cast member in the American tv soap opera ‘The Bold and the Beautiful from 2003 to 2012. Since 2014 he has been starring in the drama series ‘When Calls the Heart’ as Bill Avery.

Trailer and Release Date of ‘Falling for Christmas’:
Netflix released the official trailer for the movie on October 7, 2022. It sure is nostalgic for Lindsay fans to watch her in the trailer of this new film while ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ plays in the background bringing memory of a dance performance from eighteen years ago.
The movie is set to release on November 10, 2022, on Netflix.
