Eve Best: Must Watch Movies of House of the Dragon Cast

“The queen who never was” (Eve Best) is a woman of fierce courage, undaunted conscience, and unquestionable loyalty. The luckless Targaryen princess was cast out of her right to rule the kingdom for being a woman and later witnessed the ruin of her house, and the death of her kins one after another.

Princess Rhaenys Targaryen is the lady of Velaryon’s house, married to Corlys Velaryon when the ‘House of the Dragon‘ first begins.

From the beginning to the end of season one, she goes through the politically charged world of Westeros with controlled diplomacy and a sense of what is wrong and what is right.

The fact that she was subjected to injustice due to her gender does not cloud her conscience. And in the penultimate episode of the first season, we see Rhaenys in a new light as she burst out of the floor of Dragonpit on her dragon Meleys to interrupt the crowning of Alicent Hightower‘s elder son Aegon II, undoubtedly her most triumphant moment still now.

Rhaenys’ calm but vigilant demeanor is portrayed brilliantly by English actress and director Eve Best in the spin-off prequel of HBO’s celebrated epic fantasy series ‘Game of Thrones. Best previously acted in a number of films, tv series.

Her career also holds commendable stage performances. After her early performances including in W11 Opera children’s opera company of London, she made her professional debut in the stage performance of ‘Much Ado About Nothing in the Southwark Playhouse theatre of London in the role of Beatrice.

Following is the list of past performances of Best before being cast in ‘House of the Dragon’.
