1899 Release Date, Cast, Plot, Trailer, and Everything we know

Lovers of the creepy German thriller Sinister will enjoy the upcoming Netflix series 1899, which follows the hunt for missing children in a small town with a dark background.

The crew behind Dark has created a multilingual series called 1899, where each of the actors will speak in the tongue of their origin. Even though the eight-part thriller takes place in 1899, the same year as Dark, it is set on a migrant boat traveling from London to New York with a varied collection of European passengers.

This time, though, all of the performers are speaking in their native tongues, and producers Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar are once again producing something unique and unusual.

Although contact between the people is difficult, they share a common experience: their visions of America’s promised paradise progressively evolve into horrific nightmares.
