The South Korean actress and model signs a contract with a new agency. Since 2010, Song has been a part of the Running Man cast, a South Korean variety show, which has helped her gain fame abroad.
She had worked as a cover model for Kiki Magazine before making her acting debut in Wishing Stairs, the third movie in the Whispering Corridors series, in 2003.
Song Ji Hyo’s exclusive partnership with Uzu Rocks was formally revealed on October 19 by the company. They officially made the announcement stating that the actress and model, Song Ji Hyo has joined the agency.

Park Joo Nam, CEO of Uzu Rocks gives a statement, “We are thrilled to become family with Song Ji Hyo, who has built up a robust career and fame on the basis of her approachable nature, from her acting ventures to TV series.”
He continued saying, “We shall be steadfast in our active support of the new tasks Song Ji Hyo takes on in the future. We kindly request that you take a keen interest in the fresh chemistry and synergy that exists between Song Ji Hyo and the multi-channel content and media organization Uzu Rocks.”
Notably, Uzu Rocks are also home to Ji Suk Jin, who co-starred with Song Ji Hyo in “Running Man,” as well as Zelo from B.A.P., Oh Man Seok, and Bbaek Ga from Koyote.
In the 2006 romance comedy Princess Hours and the historical drama Jumong, she made her television debut (2006).
As a result of her work in the movies A Frozen Flower (2008), New World (2013), Emergency Couple (2014), and Was It, Love? (2020), as well as her first movie to be released in South Korea following the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, Intruder (2020), Song went on to receive more attention from the general public.
Despite being released during the pandemic, the movie was well-received by viewers. In the 2014 television movie Emergency Couple, co-starring Choi Jin-hyuk, Song played the lead character of a divorced medical intern who runs into her ex-husband from a contentious divorce at the emergency hospital.
The song was officially announced as the female lead for the 2021 TVING online series ‘The Witch’s Diner’ on February 2, 2021.
