Wendell & Wild which will be streaming on Netflix very soon is a frightening animated film that will amuse us just in time for Halloween Season!
The plot involves challenging yet guilt-ridden high schooler Kat Elliot played by Lyric Ross, tormented by her past, who should face her inner demons called Wendell and Wild voiced by Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele in order to begin a new journey in her old hometown.
It is directed by Henry Selick who was also the director of The Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline and directed by Jordan Peele who has also delivered us with Nope, Us, Get Out.
Angela Bassett, David Harewood, Maxine Peake, James Hong, and Ving Rhames all provide their voices to Wendell & Wild.
Wendell & Wild Release Date
Wendell & Wild made its international debut on September 11, 2022, at the 47th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), and is set to be released in selected theatres on October 21, 2022, before being available on Netflix on October 28, 2022. The scene is going to set Halloween just right!

Yes, Netflix has released a teaser trailer for Wendell & Wild, warning us that it is time to confront our problems.
Wendell & Wild is a cartoon story about demonic siblings Wendell who is voiced by Keegan-Michael Key and Wild by Jordan Peele as they battle their arch-nemesis, the devil-dusting nun Sister Helly who is voiced by Angela Bassett.
They recruit the help of Goth girl Kat Elliot to call them to the Land of the Living but are unprepared for what she expects in exchange.

Keegan-Michael Key as Wendell
Keegan-Michael Key plays the devil Wendell in Wendell & Wild. Keegan has previously voiced roles in Pinocchio, The Lego Movie, Hotel Transylvania, The Lion King, and Toy Story 4.
In addition to Schmigadoon!, Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey, Friends From College, The Predator, and the TV series Archer, he has appeared. Wonka and Super Mario Bros: The Movie will both include Keegan-Michael.
Jordan Peele as Wild
Jordan plays Wendell’s younger brother, Wild. He has appeared in Big Mouth, The Twilight Zone, Bob’s Burgers, Key & Peele with co-star Keegan-Michael Key, and Fargo. He’s also appeared in Toy Story 4, Captain Underpants: The First Epic Film, and SuperMansion as a voice actor.
Lyric Ross as Kat Elliot
Lyric Kat, a shame-ridden adolescent, is played by Ross. She has already been in This is Us, The Class, Chicago Fire, and the upcoming 2023 series Ironheart.
