Enola Holmes 2 Update: After taking the fans by storm with its initial release back in 2020, Enola Holmes returns with the soon-to-be hit sequel where the mystery continues. Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, and Helena Bonham Carter reprise their roles as Enola, Sherlock, and Eudoria respectively.
Directed by Harry Bradbeer, it also stars Louis Partridge as the fan-favorite Viscount Tewksbury, Adeel Akhtar, David Thewlis, Susan Wokoma & Sharon Duncan-Brewster. The series will be available on Netflix on November 4.
What Happened In The First Movie?
Enola Holmes stars Millie Bobby Brown as the titular character from the young adult novel series of the same name. When Enola Holmes, Sherlock, and Mycroft Holmes’ teen sister, discovers her mother missing, she sets off to find her, becoming a superlative sleuth in her own right as she outwits her famous brothers, Sherlock and Mycroft, played by Sam Claflin.
Enola, the youngest of the Holmes family, has big shoes to fill but is more than up to the task. Using her inferential skills and ingenuity, she follows the trail of clues left by her mother and begins her search, all while standing in the way of a potential murder plot.
Enola Holmes is adapted from The Enola Holmes Mysteries by author Nancy Springer and utilizes characters from the works of Arthur Conan Doyle.
Enola Holmes 2: What Did The Trailer Reveal?
It seems like the mysteries never end for Enola and despite how vexing it gets for her, she’s now made it her full-time job. Taking on her first official case, Enola is approached by a young girl employed by a match factory trying to find her missing sister.
However, when Enola’s search begins to take a dangerous turn, she enlists the help of her brother, Sherlock, to navigate the rough London underworld and the highest points in society to find her client’s missing sister.
