Will Werewolf By Night be part of MCU Canon?

Marvel has recently released Werewolf By Night which is a Halloween Special directed by Music Composer and debutant director Michael Giacchino. And It’s one of the first horror projects ever done by Marvel Studios but after watching it maximum fans are confused about whether will it be part of MCU’s Canon or not.

So if you have not watched the Halloween Special yet, I must stop you here as in this article we can share some spoilers about the film.

Werewolf by Night is the story of a Monster Hunters community whose main leader is dead now and the society now decided to choose their new leader who will wield a very powerful weapon called Bloodstone.

As the hunts begin our main character Jack Russell (Gael García Bernal) who is half Werewolf or Werewolf By Night and was also summoned to compete in the hunt along with Elsa played by Laura Donnelly, tried to help the monster as this was his main plan, just to rescue the monster.

At last, Elsa tried to help Jack and killed almost every hunter and took the control of Bloodstone with the help of Werewolf and the other monster named Tedd.

Werewolf By Night is really amazing and its storytelling and narrative are really very different and dark. So fans are asking if it is part of MCU canon or not.

Will it be part of MCU canon?

As the story of the series started with the voice-over about the legendary superheroes of the MCU, so the story of Werewolf is kind of a part of it. But I don’t think the characters of the series would appear in any mainstream MCU series or films anytime soon.

As the MCU is really not that dark and it’s a PG-13 universe. But as we know Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness had really pushed the boundaries of PG-13 and characters like Blade, Daredevil and Deadpool have already been announced as the part of MCU and daredevil has been seen in She-Hulk Episode 7.

So it’s quite possible that we can see Russell and Elsa in upcoming projects of MCU may be in Blade or Moon Knight Season 2.
