IU performs at Lee Jong Suk’s brother’s wedding.

Recently, IU and actor Lee Jong Suk reconnected during the wedding of the actor’s younger brother, bringing to memory their ten-year friendship.

Lee Ji-eun commonly known as IU is a well-known South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer, and actress. She joined LOEN Entertainment (now Kakao Entertainment) in 2007 as a trainee, and at the age of fifteen, she released her first extended play (EP), Lost and Found, marking her singing debut (2008).

Lee Jong-suk is an actor and model from South Korea who made his runway debut in 2005, being the youngest male model to ever take part in Seoul Fashion Week.

IU was spotted on October 4 KST attending the wedding of actor Lee Jong Suk’s younger brother. IU performed a song of congratulations for Lee Jong Suk’s younger brother’s wedding while sporting a light brown button-down shirt and a clean black skirt.

IU performed “Meaning of You,” a song from her 2014 cover mini-album A Flower Bookmark, for the song of congratulations. The Korean rock group Sanulrim first played the song about love in 1984.

The song was a meaningful choice to utilize to convey congratulations to the wedding couple because of the pleasant emotions and memories connected to the cover.

In contrast, IU and Lee Jong Suk first got to know one another while serving as co-hosts of SBS’s music program “Inkigayo” in 2012–2013. It attracted a lot of interest that they are still friends now. The fans adore the way they treat each other with such pure love and friendship.

IU is one of the most loved personalities in the entertainment industry in South Korea. Her song “Good Day” continued to top the Gaon Digital Chart in South Korea for five weeks in a row, and in 2019 it was named the best K-pop song of the decade by Billboard.

Apart from her music career, IU was also cast in leading roles in the television drama series “You Are the Best!” (2013), “Pretty Man” (2013–14), “The Producers” (2015), and “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” (2016).

On the other hand, Lee’s breakout performance came in the 2012 series “School 2013” He is also highly known for his performances in the dramas “I Can Hear Your Voice” (2013), “Doctor Stranger” (2014), “Pinocchio” (2014), “W” (2016), “While You Were Sleeping” (2017), “Romance Is a Bonus Book” (2019), and “Big Mouth” (2022).
