Joe Goldberg, the frighteningly entertaining character, is back! Netflix has released pictures from You season 4, which show Penn Badgley as everyone’s favorite killer protagonist Joe Goldberg in a new look.

Penn Badgley returns to You Seasons 4 as a stalker and serial murderer Joe, who has opted to modify his look this time around, growing an attractive beard that should help him hide from the cops with his beloved baseball cap.

The television adaptation of You, based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novel of the same name, took off after shifting from Lifetime to Netflix for season 2. The psychological thriller depicts Joe Goldberg’s (Badgley) tortured love life, who will literally do anything for love.

This was most recently demonstrated at the conclusion of You season 3, which saw Joe move on from Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) to what he considers to be his ideal match, Marienne Bellamy (Tati Gabrielle).

The first season of You, produced by Warner Horizon Television in collaboration with Alloy Entertainment and A&E Studios, is based on Caroline Kepnes’ 2014 novel of the same name and follows Penn Badgely as Joe Goldberg, a bookshop manager in New York who falls in love with an aspiring writer.

As Joe shows himself to be a serial murderer with a penchant for intense fixation, what begins as an adolescent attraction gradually grows into poisonous infatuation.

The second season of You sees a shift in both the show’s location and its availability, as it moves from Lifetime to Netflix as a Netflix Original series. Where it has been ever since. Joe relocates to Los Angeles in Season 2, changing his identity and maybe his ways.

Unfortunately, Joe’s greatest efforts are short-lived, as he falls back into old habits after falling in love with enthusiastic chef Love Quinn.

Joe is suffering as a husband and parent in the latest season of You, and he lives in a suburban Californian town. Obsession and murder are never far away, with the third season concluding with Joe fleeing to Paris in quest of his newest love, Marianne.

“You” season 4 was picked up by Netflix before season 3 even started. Season 3 finished on a high note, with Joe practically blowing up the house he lived with Love after murdering her. The killer then abandons their kid Henry with Dante (Ben Mehl) and his partner in order to find down librarian Marianne, who is on the run.

In true You flair, the season’s concluding seconds teased fans with Joe scouring the streets of Paris. Netflix has begun to disclose additional information about the show’s newest terrifying chapter, including character bios and set images.

With each successive season, “You” has gotten rather good at recreating itself. You have managed to stay new thanks to changes in scenery, characters, and Joe’s social and familiar circumstances. The series has managed to stay fresh, which Penn Badgely feels season 4 achieves more than before.

“You” season 4 is now under production, which means it won’t be available until at least the fall of 2022. Joe’s new beard provides him a more hidden appearance as he walks onto the London scene, which may be required given the events of the You season 3 finale. It doesn’t seem impossible that certain officials are hunting for him.
