The African fantasy series The Brave Ones trailer has got fantasy fans all over the world, especially from Africa pretty much excited.
The plot synopsis released by Netflix is as follows: “An all-mighty goddess reincarnated as a young woman must harness her divine powers to avenge her sister’s death and protect her family from destruction”.
The cinematography of the show, as shown in the trailer is quite impressive. The background score also matches perfectly with the theme of the show. If you’re looking for a show to really sink your teeth into, this series is perfect for you.
As said in the description, this show might dive into some of the African Gods. The show is set in modern-day South Africa. The trailer talks about ‘The brave one’ several times.
One wouldn’t be wrong if he or she assumes that it is the name of the main character. The trailer also gives a glimpse of a tree that marks the birth of the brave. The brave is determined to fight out evil, the trailer says.
The character gives hope to the people of ‘Ilanga’ who are in danger, and she is destined to save them.
