However, when the phenomenal second season rocketed to the top of Netflix’s most-watched TV list in only one month, we can’t blame you for wanting to see what the writers, filmmakers, and executive producer Lauren Schmidt-Hissrich have in mind.
Release Date Of The Witcher Season 3
Season 3 of The Witcher has not yet been announced. But in December 2019 and December 2021, respectively, Netflix published The Witcher and The Witcher season 2. A pattern has emerged, and the prequel Blood Origin has a publication date of 2022. Geralt’s next live-action adventure is expected to arrive around 2023.
For context, the second season’s production began in February 2020 and ended in April 2021 due to COVID slowdowns and an injury to lead Henry Cavill. The first season had a much more consistent schedule, running from October 2018 to May 2019, before returning seven months later in December 2019.
