Fitbit Sense Price, Design, Performance, and More Details

With several thoughtful new upgrades, the Fitbit Sense, one of the best Fitbits currently available, builds on the success of the Fitbit Versa line. At the top of the Fitbit family of activity trackers and smartwatches for fitness and health, the Ionic is replaced by the Fitbit Sense.

It measures your stress levels, skin temperature, blood oxygen levels, electrodermal activity, ECG, and heart rate variations in addition to all Fitbit fitness metrics and an integrated GPS.

Fitbit Sense: Price

Fitbit Sense

In September 2020, Fitbit Sense went on sale. So naturally, you shouldn’t ever pay more than £219/ $229.95 for the model. Even though it retails for £299.99 in the UK and $299.95 in the US. However, it is frequently found at a discount.

Design

Fitbit Sense

The Fitbit Sense smartwatch has a stylish design. Its square face and rounded edges, which Fitbit’s designer claims were influenced by the contours of the human body, are very similar to those of the Versa line of fitness trackers.

Although the case is made of stainless steel, no physical buttons can be found anywhere. Instead, a touch-sensitive button on the left will automatically launch Alexa. Four shortcuts are accessible with a double tap.

The Infinity Band strap with the Fitbit Sense is made of soft silicone and has no hard buckles or catches. It shares many similarities with the band on the recently released Polar Unite. It suffers from the same problem of being a tiny bit difficult to fasten because you have to feed the end of the band underneath the strap to secure it.

Performance

Fitbit Sense

While the Fitbit Sense will never be as accurate as a dedicated GPS watch. The workout display on the watch itself is clear and simple to read whether you’re running, cycling, or doing anything else.

It will work fine if you’re trying to cut some time off your favorite 5 km route.

Feature

The Fitbit Sense can run for up to six days on a single charge. But regular use of the device’s various sensors and the always-on display will significantly shorten that period. In addition, the Sense comes with a small USB charger with a square dock that magnetically fastens to the watch’s pack for charging whenever it’s time to top it off.

Additionally, it provides blood oxygen measurements and is waterproof up to a depth of 50 meters. Fitbit is doing okay, but Sense can now assess atrial fibrillation using an ECG. Allowing you to receive notifications for high and low heart rates.

The most notable function of the Sense is stress monitoring, which is accomplished by measuring electrodermal activity (EDA) responses brought on by your skin’s conductivity.

Sweating has an impact on this, and your adrenal glands have an impact on sweat. It’s important to note that physical stress, such as exercise and heat, can also affect EDA responses. Emotional stress isn’t the only thing that can.
