Mae, a patient of Jules Mathis’s mother, a psychiatrist, will be staying with the family for the next several days. When Jules Mathis, age 15, returns home from school, she finds a strange girl sitting in her kitchen.
Her mother explains that Mae is one of her patients at the hospital and that she will be staying with them for a few days. But before long, Mae is sleeping in Jules’ room, taking Jules’ place on the student paper and flirting with her crush. Mae also has no plans to leave.
Then, things start to seem strange. Mae is half-dressed as Jules enters the room. Jules is shocked to see a pentagram scratched into Mae’s back. Mae is a survivor of the bizarre cult that is ingrained in a neighboring village. The cult will do whatever it takes to get Mae back.
