Prepare yourself for the best family movie nights ever in September, not simply because everyone will (hopefully) resume their daily routines but because three complete movies based on the hugely famous Ivy + Bean children’s book series will be available on Netflix.
They all appear to be just as cute and entertaining as you might anticipate. The streaming service also announced that the first film from the next slate would be released on the site in early September.
Two girls who never anticipated becoming friends are at the center of the narrative. But the more time they spend together, the more they realize that even people who seem to have nothing in common can wind up being the best of friends.
Keslee Blalock and Madison Skye Validumin, who plays Ivy and Bean, respectively, are depicted in the pictures.
The young girls appear to be planning a covert trip to school in one picture. The other picture shows them taking a dance lesson, and Bean is dressed like a queen, complete with a crown and scepter, while Ivy appears to be quite pleased about something.

Yes, on September 2, 2022, Netflix will release a total of three movies as part of its After School schedule.
These films, which promise to keep children entertained for a considerable amount of time, will all be available to stream on Netflix.

Ivy & Bean Netflix Storyline
Two young girls who initially don’t get along all that well are the subject of the bestselling Ivy + Bean book series by Annie Barrows and Sophie Blackall. Even though they don’t have anything in common, their parents sort of forcing them into playing together.
Ivy, who lives next door, is perceived by Bean as a typical youngster who dislikes adventure, while Ivy considers Bean to be a little odd. However, as we discover throughout the series, their contrasts are what make them ideal for one another.
And naturally, adventures follow. Ivy learns the school toilet is haunted in the second movie, “Ivy & Bean: The Ghost That Had To Go.” And her friend Bean is there, prepared to assist Ivy in developing her witchy skills. The third movie in the series is titled “Ivy & Bean: Doomed To Dance”. Ivy and Bean are thrilled to enroll in a ballet class in this episode, but they quickly learn that there will be no sword fighting, kicking, or “dancing to the death” permitted in the class.
In the third film, Ivy + Bean: Doomed To Dance, Ivy and Bean decide that they should start taking dance classes rather than just acting as they can dance. One restriction is agreed upon by their parents: no quitting. Even if there aren’t any sword fighting tournaments as they were expecting, they have to put up with dance class.

The best-selling children’s novels by author Annie Barrows served as the inspiration for Ivy & Bean. Family-friendly one-hour films are part of the streaming giant’s goal, though they haven’t said how many are presently in production or if all 12 books would be turned into movies.
Both Kathy Waugh and Jeff Stockwell, who have a lot of expertise with children and family-friendly stories, adapted the screenplay. Waugh created Molly of Denali and contributed writing to the Curious George and Arthur animated series.
Children of the Machine was written by Stockwell, who also adapted A Wrinkle in Time and Bridge to Terabithia. Elissa Down, who previously helmed the unexpected hit dancing comedy film Feel the Beat, returns to Netflix to direct the first film.
