Jeon Yo Hwan is a Korean drug dealer who has taken control of the Republic of Suriname.

The production of Narco Saints started in 2021. It was in March 2021 when the casting was confirmed then later and in November 2021 the filming started. It is created by Netflix and written by Yoo Jong Bin as well as Kwon Sung Hui. Yoo Jong is not just the writer but also the director of the series.
