While Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is almost here, much of the film remains a complete mystery. At San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige revealed that the film would conclude Marvel Phase 4 and unveiled its first trailer.
Which teases a new Black Panther as well as a massive dispute between Wakanda and the underwater kingdom of Talocan ruled by Namor.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Black Panther. It is studied to be the sequel to Black Panther (2018) and the 30th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures (MCU). Ryan Coogler is in charge of the film’s direction.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is set to be released in the United States on November 11, 2022, as the final film in the MCU’s Phase Four.
While the exact timeline of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has not been revealed, an educated guess would be that it takes place after the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder.
Trailer
The first teaser for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, set to Tems’ cover of iconic Bob Marley track ‘No Woman No Cry,’ was released on July 23 as part of Marvel’s main presentation at Comic-Con 2022.
It’s also a highly emotional teaser. With Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman set to die in August 2020 after a four-year battle with colon cancer, the trailer serves as an early tribute to Boseman’s powerful performance as King T’Challa/Black Panther.
What can we anticipate?
No plot details for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever have been confirmed by Marvel Studios. Therefore the presence of Namor and his underwater kingdom of Atlantis has led to speculation that the sequel will revolve around Wakanda and Atlantis going to war, and plenty of footage has emerged of the Wakandans repelling an underwater military presence – a coming teased in Avengers: Endgame.
Wakanda Forever appears to be centered on an expanding feud between Wakanda and Talocan, as the film’s first teaser, well, teased. The trailer shows the two countries fighting at various points, but we suspect there’s more to this conflict than meets the eye.

Without its titular hero, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will concentrate on the various supporting characters from the first film. And according to some reports, the film will also introduce some long-awaited classic characters, but we’ll get to that later.
