iQOO 9: iQOO has made a name for itself by offering reasonably priced, high-performance phones. This year, iQOO has surprised us with three interesting offers: the iQOO 9 SE, the iQOO 9, and the iQOO 9 Pro.
Of course, we’ve already met the flagship Pro and the more affordable SE models, so it’s only natural that we conclude our series 9 tour with the in iQOO 9.
iQOO 9 Price in India
It includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC, dynamic RAM expansion up to 4GB, a 120Hz AMOLED display, a slew of software gaming customization options, and more. This makes it a formidable competitor in its field. Here is my complete review of the iQOO 9 5G and how it performs in real-world situations.
The iQOO 9 5G costs Rs 42,990 for 8GB/128GB storage and Rs 46,990 for 12GB/256GB storage. There will be two color options: Legend and Alpha.
Design
The first thing distinguishing from the competition is its design, particularly the Legend Variant, which marks three stripes on the back inspired by BMW’s color scheme. In addition, the new iQOO 9 Legend variant is visually appealing.
Instead of simply raising the area immediately surrounding the sensors, it includes a rectangular glass window on the left side with three lenses. The rest is left blank, with only some information on the cameras’ gimbal stabilization.
Camera
The iQOO 9 has a triple camera setup on the back. It has a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 primary camera with a gimbal and an f/1.79 lens, a 13-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f2.2 lens, and a 13-megapixel portrait sensor with an f/2.46 aperture. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera completes the front side with an f/2.45 aperture.
The ultra-wide camera produces images with a 120-degree field view and minimal warping around the corners. It also has macro capabilities, which allow you to capture incredibly clear, high-quality close-ups.
In terms of video, the back camera can shoot 4K videos at 60 frames per second, while the selfie camera can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. In addition, back cameras can record 1080p slow-motion videos at up to 240 frames per second.
Performance
The iQOO 9 Pro comes with Vivo’s custom Android skin, Funtouch OS, based on Android 12. People who have used other BBK Electronics devices should be familiar with the layout and how settings are organized.
The microSD card slot is not available in any of the variants. iQOO uses its software capabilities to boost the number of RAM available on the device by up to 4GB by simply lending it from the internal storage. However, I believe 16GB of RAM is a little excessive.
Gaming can be an entirely new experience, and you can play various games without sacrificing graphic quality. You will be able to play games in the highest quality possible. On the iQOO 9, I enjoyed playing BGMI, Call of Duty Mobile, and Asphalt 9. All of the games ran extremely well.
Battery LifeThe iQOO 9 has the smallest battery of any Series 9 phone, with a 4,350 mAh. Like the Pro, it supports 120W fast charging.
Surprisingly, the battery life on the smallest phone is the best! The device’s charging, on the other hand, takes it to the next level. The iQOO 9 is capable of fast charging at 120W. The 120W charger charges the battery from 0% to 100% in approximately 18 minutes. The phone can reach 50% charge in just six minutes.
