With the cliffhanger ending of Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2, where we have seen Vecna is almost dead but he succeeded in his plan and upside down is now taking over Hawkins, Although the team of Eleven is back together and Jim Hopper is also back formed Russia now. But I think a lot can happen in the final and last season of Stranger Things.

We will not discuss much of what has happened in Stranger Things Season 4, rather we will focus on what can happen in the upcoming Season 5 of the series.

What could happen in Season 5?

As Vecna has taken over the Hawkins and Upside down is changing our dimension, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and friends will fight hard to roll back the deeds of Vecna aka One. Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink) is alive but I think her soul is somewhere trapped in Upside Down and Vecna may use her to get his powers once again.

William “Will” Byers (Noah Schnapp) may still be in the contact with Vecna and he may play an influential part in Season 5 as his role was not that great in this season, rather than helping Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard).

So there is a lot to happen in Stranger Things Season 5, as Vecna is weak he would require a strong power source.

And Duffer Brother has already said that Season 5 will have a time jump of 2 years but I don’t think that’s possible because the emergency situation has already appeared at the ending of Season 4. Let’s see how the writers will deal with thsi situation.

Stranger Things Season 5 Potential Release Date

There is only one confirmation that season 5 will surely happen, But Netflix has not decided on any expected release date yet, and as per the Duffer Brother’s interview on TVLine, it was decided that Season 5 will be shot along with Season 4 but unfortunately that could have happened due to COVID-19 pandemic.

So the entire season production is about to happen and I think we can get the Stranger Things Season 5 by 2024.

• Nancy’s love interest Jonathan will also be back and Charlie Heaton will again play the role
• Joe Keery will be back as Steve Harrington
• Noah Schnapp will also be abck as Will Byers
• Sadie Sink aka Max Mayfield will also be back for the Stranger Things Season 5
