Stranger Things Season 5: Who Will Die?

1. Dustin Henderson

Dustin might die because of a character who died in Stranger Things season 4. His friend Eddie sacrificed himself to save Dustin from danger in the Upside Down.

Eddie died while Dustin held him, which was upsetting for Dustin. This sad memory might bother him a lot in Stranger Things season 5. There’s a villain named Vecna who targets people who have gone through tough times.

Since Dustin has experienced trauma with Eddie’s death, Vecna might go after him. Max was hurt badly by Vecna too. She was left in a coma because of the trauma of losing her brother. Dustin might end up in a coma like Max or something even worse might happen to him.

2. Steve Harrington

Steve Harrington’s journey in Stranger Things is remarkable. At first, he was a mean high school bully who didn’t fit well with Nancy. Despite this, Nancy felt a connection to him. But by season 3, he had changed for the better.

Now, his friendships with Nancy, Robin, and Dustin are a key highlight of the show. However, it seems like his story might be coming to an end in season 5. There’s a chance he could sacrifice himself to demonstrate his growth, which would be sad for all the viewers.

 

3. Eleven

Eleven has a lot of pressure because she always has to use her powers to save people. If she survives at the end of Stranger Things season 5, it would be a relief. But if she dies, it would end the Netflix series. As the show continues, Eleven gets more tired from fighting.

Vecna is the toughest villain she’s faced, and beating him might make her tired. She might even sacrifice herself like she did in season 1, which would make the story complete.

4. Will Byers

Will Byers might die soon. In the first season of Stranger Things, his disappearance united everyone to fight against the Upside Down. His death would complete this cycle. Some believe he’s linked to Vecna, and defeating Vecna might hurt him.

If killing Vecna means killing Will too, his friends will face a hard choice. Thus, Will might choose to sacrifice himself to free his friends from the monsters from the Upside Down.

5. Hooper

Hopper, similar to Steve, wasn’t well-liked at first in Stranger Things. He seemed grumpy, but we understood him better when we learned about his daughter’s death. Over time, he became like a dad to Eleven, someone Joyce could rely on, and he even had feelings for Joyce.

At the end of season 3, it seemed like he died, but he was taken to Russia as a prisoner. People have been guessing about what happened to him, and in season 5, he might die.
