One of Us Is Lying Season 2 is a peacock original series that is an adaptation of the book of the same name by Karen McManus, which is a young adult murder mystery genre.

For Season 2 of One of Us is Lying, it is said that the center-focused characters will be back mainly Bronwyn played by Marian Tejada, Nate played by Cooper van Grootel, Cooper played by Chibuikem Uche, Addy by Annalisa Cochrane, and also Barrett Carnahan as Jake.

The storyline revolves around five High schoolers walking into the detention and only four of them make it out alive. Everyone is a suspect and each of them has something to hide.

The show begins by letting us know that Simon has serious dirt on four people on the first day of school. Simon gets poisoned while in detention by peanut oil because he has a peanut allergy. The show figures out who murdered Simon.

Season 2 of One of Us Is Lying may be based around all the four central characters as they were relatively aware of the murder of Jake, which may cause future trouble for them and leads to another problem-solving mystery.

Season one was thrilling, compelling, and binge-worthy to watch and resonates so strongly with the audience. Therefore, One of us is lying has been renewed for a second season and it is predicted that the release of One Of Us Is Lying Season second will be by the end of 2023.

Season 2 will pick up right after the events in the season 1 finale deadline report meaning that the next installment will be a deviation from McManus’s sequel novel title “One Of Us Is Next” which is set a whole year after “One of Us is Lying”.

However, the announcement of confirmation about the release date of the series is still unknown. Therefore, there is a higher chance that season 2 will be released in 2023 only on the Netflix streaming platform.
