The Chi Season 5 Updates: Lena Waithe has created the American drama ‘The Chi’ that digs into how life goes on in the neighborhood of the South Side of Chicago. The plot of the series revolves around a community living in that place whose peaceful days become upside down by some surprising turn of events.

These shocking sides of fate render the members of the community find themselves in unexpected situations. The story is primarily centered around the characters named Emmett, Ronnie, Brandon, and Kevin.

Jason Mitchell, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Jacob Latimore, and Alex Hibbert play the roles of Brandon, Ronnie, Emmett, and Kevin respectively in the series.

Other cast members of the series include Tiffany Boone, Yolonda Ross, Armando Riesco, Barton Fitzpatrick, Shamon Brown Jr., Michael V. Epps, Birgundi Baker, Luke James, Curtiss Cook, etc. The series premiered on December 5, 2017 on Showtime. The Season 5 of the series is set to release on June 24, 2022.

Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti play the roles of Robert Axelrod and Charles Rhoades respectively in the series. The series premiered on January 17, 2016, on Showtime.

Throughout their road trip as well as the series we see them struggling with the terror of racism nurtured in white America and the horror monsters living in the Lovecraft paperback.

Eventually they rise to the place where they build their own empire of crime.
