Xiaomi 11T Pro: An option amongst many flagship competitors.

Xiaomi 11T Pro Updates: Xiaomi launched the 11T Pro, on January 20, 2022, in India. This device is the successor of the Xiaomi 10T Pro. This device has various features which were not even available in some flagship devices. Xiaomi is known as very clever for providing premium bits and features to a device.

About the device:

Box Content: In the box, is the phone itself. transparent silicone case, with a 120W charger and a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, and a few paperwork. The silicon case has a premium finish and fits accurately on the device. The charging brick is heavy as it is a 120W fast charge. There are no earphones but the box does have a dongle with USB-C to the headphone jack.

Design and first impression: Xiaomi 11T pro has a matt glass back on the back with a triple camera setup. The camera module is a little elevated the bottom left of the device has the company branding. The sides of the device are metallic. The right side of the device has a lock/unlock button which has an in-built fingerprint reader. Above it, the device has volume control. At the flagship level, the company should have offered an in-display fingerprint reader. The bottom and top of the device are flat. The bottom of the device has a sim tray, along with a USB-C port and a speaker grill. The top of the device has a speaker grill too with Harmon/Kardon branding. The device does feel wide in hand.

Display & Multimedia: The 11T Pro is built with a 6.67″ FHD+ display, with 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling, and is an AMOLED panel. The display does support Dolby Vision and has Gorilla Glass Victus protection. There is a 16MP in-display punch hole camera. The bezels on the display are very thin. The device has an option of enhancing the resolution with which, the device can enhance 480p resolution to 1080p. The multimedia experience on this device would be awesome, thanks to Harmon/Kardon stereo speaker setup. The colors on the display are vibrant and there shouldn’t be an issue with viewing angles.

Software & Performance: The 11T is equipped with Snapdragon 888 processor, tuned with 3 specifications. The 8GB RAM+128GB ROM, or the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM, and 12GB + 256GB ROM. Out of the box, the device is installed with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. The 888 processor is an old processor but performs very well. But the company must have offered Android 12-based MIUI 13. Xiaomi claims to give 3 Years of Android Update and 4 years of Android Security Patch updates. Device performance is excellent for daily usage. Even the gaming performance on this device is very well.

Camera: The back of the 11T Pro has a triple camera setup. The primary camera has 108MP along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 120° field of view and a 5MP macro lens. The front of the device has a 16MP single camera. The rear cameras perform very well on this device. Pictures from primary cameras are they are very saturated and vibrant. The ultra-wide camera does capture soft images but has decent quality. surprisingly the macro lens is excellent and captures each and every detail.

Battery: Xiaomi 11T Pro is built with two 2500mAh batteries, combining 5000mAh battery capacity. The battery has been divided into two parts because of 120W charging. So the current divides equally half into both the batteries and they charge individually faster. The company claims 0-100% battery in 17 minutes.

Connectivity: 11T pro has 5G support with 13 bands. It also has Dual 4G VoLTE support. The device has Wi-Fi 6 dual-band and Bluetooth 5.2. It has NFC too.

Can this be a great deal?
The device starts from ₹39,999. There are various devices in this price range such as Samsung Galaxy S20FE and OnePlus 9RT which might be better than this device. But this device has a few impeccable features such as audio tuned by Harmon/Kardon and Dolby Vision which makes this device a standout.
