Anne Sewitsky directed the historical drama miniseries’ A Very British Scandal’ which revolves around the scandalous legal case of the Campbells in postwar Britain. The setting of the series is in the 1960s when the marriage of Margaret Campbell and the 11th Duke of Argyll, Ian Campbell took place.

The marriage culminated in the dramatic divorce case of 1963. The series features the media frenzy that was born surrounding the Argyll v Argyll divorce case, a legal drama that involved serious accusations like forgery, adultery, theft, drug use, violence, bribery, etc while portraying the political and social scenario of postwar Britain and also the treatment of women in that time.

Clare Foy and Paul Bettany play the roles of Margaret Campbell and Ian Campbell respectively. The series ran from December 26 to December 28 of 2021 on BBC One.

The series features the Thorpe Scandal of 1976 to 1979 and the years-long consequences of it. The famous parliament member Jeremy Thorpe endeavors to kill Norman, his former lover, being afraid that Norman would end his political career. But when Norman comes out alive and reports the attempted murder, Thorpe has to face trials.

Hugh Grant and Ben Whishaw play the roles of Jeremy Thorpe and Norman Scott respectively. The series ran from May 20 to June 3 of 2018 on BBC One.
