Cobra Kai has been there since 2018 since it first aired on YouTube, but following its season 2, it was moved to Netflix, where it received even more recognition. Cobra Kai picks up 34 years after the original The Karate Kid movie, with Ralph Macchio with William Zabka reprising their portrayals as Daniel & Johnny to see what transpires when their feud resurfaces with their teenage offspring, who are also into karate.

Kickin’ It
If you enjoyed Cobra Kai’s family-friendly perspective in something like a strip mall dojo, wait till you see…this family-friendly Disney series about kids taking karate at the strip mall dojo! Kickin’ It was a ½ hour comedy series that aired on Disney XD between 2011 to 2015.
It’s about a group of youngsters that chopped & kicked their way throughout life and relationship lessons. Of course, because of its homely home network, this one is somewhat less nasty and a lot more PG as compared to Cobra Kai, however, the core charms are very similar. So needless to say you’re gonna love it. Season 4 of Kickin is unfortunately the last of it.
Friday Night Lights
Despite the fact that Friday Night Lights aired from 2006 to 2011, this old-timer is still a gem. It’s all about high school football, including everything in Texas, it’s also about family, responsibility, and the often stifling connections that link.

Seis Manos is about a group of orphans who’ve been fostered by a martial arts instructor who teaches them how to fight. Warrior is an action-packed thriller starring Andrew Koji portraying Ah Sahm, a Chinese martial arts phenom who lands in San Francisco in the 1870s in search of his missing sister, only to become embroiled in criminal factions.
This event is a must-see for aficionados of legendary martial arts films and Bruce Lee, as it was originally the deceased martial arts legend’s invention. Finally, Warrior honors Lee’s history while standing as its own modern action drama, and it’s easy to imagine Lee would be pleased with the final product. Warrior season 3 will be released in mid-2022 on HBO Max.
