This shiny metal is reminiscent of silver, although it is said to be stronger and lighter than steel. The coating is made with non-conductive vacuum metallization (NCVM) technology, which can add a distinct metallic effect. There is also a resistance to the fingerprint on the buds and a case that maintains all the tactile functions in mind. The charging case also has the same advantage as Mithril.
OnePlus Buds Pro Special Edition brings nothing new to the table except the new color. Therefore, wireless earbuds cost the same as the OnePlus Buds Pro namely CNY 799. For a limited time, however, earbuds are available at a discounted price of CNY 699 in China.
OnePlus Buds Pro comes with an 11mm driver, Bluetooth 5.2 connections, and three active microphones with audio cancellation. The earbuds are IP55 rated and have a capacity of 37 mAh for up to 7 hours of playable music.
The wireless headphones include the Active Noise Canceling (ANC) algorithm, which reduces ambient noise by up to 40 decibels. Buds Pro comes with ANC modes: Faint, Smart, and Extreme. For gamers, there is also a low latency setting with a delay of just 94 milliseconds.
The charging case houses a 520mAh battery with USBC wireless charging and Qi wireless charging. The total operating time without noise cancellation is approximately 38 hours.
