Black Panther 2 Faces Delay Because Of COVID-19 Rules Look Here !!

Published by

Black Panther 2 Updates: The long-awaited Black Panther sequel may not arrive in the time frame that fans had hoped for.

Several errors have occurred as a result of the untimely death of its star, Chadwick Boseman, along with COVID-19 restrictions. Fans of the classic are now demanding that Letitia Wright, one of the film’s stars, be removed following claims that she refused to be vaccinated against the infection.

According to a report published by The Hollywood Reporter, development on the sequel has been halted as Wright recovers at her home in London after suffering an injury on shooting this summer.

In Wright’s absence, the film’s director, Ryan Coogler, kept the production going by filming as much material as he could in Atlanta. Due to the holiday season, another closure will begin on Thanksgiving and run until early 2022.

“Letitia has been rehabilitating in London since September from injuries incurred on the set of Black Panther 2 and anticipates returning to work in early 2022,” a spokesperson for Wright stated. “Letitia respectfully requests that you remember her in your prayers.”

Following Boseman’s death, Wright’s character Shuri—the sister of T’Challa, played by Boseman—has apparently been promoted to the lead in the sequel.

However, her return to America is now being highlighted as a problem, as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently adopted laws requiring all non-immigrant, non-citizen entrants to present documentation of being properly vaccinated.

Wright, who was born in Guyanese, is not a citizen of the United States.

Wright’s immunization status is unknown at this time. Fans, on the other hand, are already irritated by the production delays.

Despite rumors that her vaccination status is unknown, this news hasn’t made things any easier. Some are already pushing for her to be replaced so that the film may continue as planned.

Darlene McDonald, an author, and activist expressed her displeasure on Twitter, stating, “Isn’t Letitia Wright aware that if Chadwick Boseman, a cancer patient who is immunocompromised, were still alive, her self-centered ideas would have put his life in jeopardy? Vaccination is a way to safeguard yourself and others around you, both known and unknown.”
