It was reported that this upcoming season of the third part of the anthology would be loosely based on the book titled ‘A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President’ by Jeffrey Toobin. The series examines the true story of the national crisis, as it led to the first impeachment in over a century, of a president in the United States. It shows the story through three women’s outlooks which include Monica along with Paula Jones and Linda Tripp.
The trailer of American Crime Story Season 3 depicts the suspenseful ambiance of the situation, as Sarah Paulson- who plays the role of Linda Tripp interviews Monica Lewinsky, asking about her love interest who’s “someone from work, someone important”. There are thrilling and intense scenes as the president is seen to be denying such allegations. Monica’s face gets published in media, to be seen by everyone all around the world.
By the end of American Crime Story Season 3’s trailer, we could presume that all the hints by Republican effort, point at the impeachment of Bill Clinton. A man told Tripp “They will not stop until they find a crime.” American Crime Story’s third season is believed to be shifting sexual politics all while changing media design.
