Loki Season 2 Updates: Episode 3 of Loki got released recently and it is trending. But the episode is considered too short considering the previous episodes. It actually disappointed the fans.
With only three more episodes to go, Marvel Studios’ latest Disney+ series reaches the halfway mark of its tale. After the cliffhanger conclusion of episode 2 revealed the show’s ostensible villain, Sylvie, the current episode saw her and Loki unintentionally leap from the Time Variance Authority headquarters to a planet on the verge of extinction.
Season 1 plot:
After leaving the Battle of New York with the Tesseract in 2012, Loki is apprehended by the Time Variance Authority (TVA) after he establishes a new timeline. The TVA resets the history, and this “version” Loki faces trial for crimes against the “Sacred Timeline” in front of Judge Ravonna Renslayer.
Agent Mobius is a fictional character. M. Mobius summons Loki to the Time Theater to examine his previous acts and inquire about his history of causing harm to others. He explains that Loki unintentionally kills his adopted mother Frigga in his desired future. [b] Loki tries to flee but gives up when he realizes the TVA’s strength is greater than the Infinity Stones’. He goes back to the Time Theater to watch more futility.
Loki Season 2 Plot

Loki accompanies a TVA expedition to the 1985 Oshkosh, Wisconsin, location of an attack by “The Variant,” but derails it by delaying and attempting to negotiate his way into seeing the Time-Keepers, who founded the TVA and the Sacred Timeline. Renslayer is apprehensive about her involvement, but Mobius persuades her to give Loki a second chance. Loki theories that the Variant is hiding near the TVA files after researching TVA files.
Loki pursues the Variant, who goes by Sylvie, to the TVA, where they are challenged by Renslayer, before escaping to 2077 Lamentis-1, a moon about to be smashed by a planet, using a TemPad. Due to the TemPad’s lack of power, both are unable to flee. They smuggle themselves onto a train heading for the Ark, a spacecraft designed to evacuate Lamentis-1, in order to drain its power and replenish its batteries.
Loki becomes inebriated on the train, causing him and Sylvie to be found and ejected by the guards. Loki and Sylvie are forced to approach the Ark on foot after the TemPad is unintentionally broken. Sylvie explains to Loki during their voyage that the TVA is totally made up of variations, rather than being constructed by the Time-Keepers as Mobius stated. Loki and Sylvie arrive at the location of the Ark.
Loki episode 3’s approximately 41-minute length isn’t all that unusual when compared to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which featured six as well. The Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan-led show’s first two episodes were each 42 minutes long, while the penultimate episode was 61 minutes long (that includes the post-credit scene).
In any event, the length of an episode for a Marvel Studios program shouldn’t matter all that much as long as the show delivers an engaging and powerful tale.
