Guild Wars 2: End Of Dragons Updates: Developer ArenaNet has released a new gameplay trailer for Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons. The trailer revealed that the game will have a new story and new features and will release in February 2022.

End of Dragons is an expansion to the Guild of Wars 2 and was surely expected to bring a new story and brand new features with it. The gameplay trailer for the expansion just confirmed that along with the information that the game will launch in February 2022.

While ArenaNet kept its promise of showcasing End of Dragons on July 27, the release date of the new content has been pushed back. The expansion was initially set to release in late 2021 but will now be launched in February 2022 due to the pandemic.

The last couple of years have not been easy for both ArenaNet and Guild Wars 2. First, they had to go through a layoff in early 2019 due to revenue losses. This would have provided the game a much-needed boost, but the studio’s focus on End of Dragons derailed all the plans. Now the expansion is the only hope that Guild Wars 2 has of finding back its footing.

The latest gameplay trailer for End of Dragons was released during a stream. The gameplay gave a further look into the narrative of the expansion. At the end of the trailer, it was revealed that the expansion will be released in February 2022.

All three versions of the DLC are available for pre-order with bonuses like the Flame Serpent Weapon Chest, Shing Jea Mosaic Cape, and the Prodigy of Shing Jea Tittle.

End of Dragons’ Standard Edition is available at $29.99. The Deluxe Edition is available at $54.99 and will also include a Cantha Raptor Skin and Shing Jea Dragon Boat Skiff Skin. However, the Ultimate Edition which consists of all the Deluxe Edition’s features and an added 4,000 gems, is available at a price of $79.99.

Heart of Thorns was the first expansion which provided the players an exciting opportunity to explore a new storyline involving a jungle dragon. The second expansion, Path of Fire, came out in 2017, and was set in a separate region and gave the players the fun of exploring multiple open-world locales.

Since the release of End of Dragons has been pushed back to February 2022, lapsed players and newcomers have plenty of time to get familiar with the MMO. With the excitement revolving around the third expansion, it seems like End of Dragons will be the game’s biggest content drop to date.
