Megan Fox recalls how becoming a mom ‘saved her’: ‘I needed an escape’

Megan Fox Updates: The model and star, 35, who has 3 sons with her estranged spouse Brian Austin Green, cleared up about the role maternity performed in her finding herself when she greeted her firstborn – son Noah Shannon.

Fox reported to the Washington Post that delivering at age 26 also provided her a “purpose” for her life.

Fox rolled that before she joined the department of motherhood, she was “so lost and trying to know how am I assumed to feel value or find meaning in this terrible, patriarchal, misogynistic hell that was Hollywood at the moment?”

The “Jennifer’s Body” star was often introduced to as a “bombshell” in more initial days of her profession and recalled to the publication the “pervasive thought of me as a silly succubus … for at least the first decade of my work.”
But, with the addition of her 2nd son, Bodhi Ransom, in February 2014, the “Transformers” performer continued that the daily habits and difficulties of raising her kids have aided immensely in expanding her sense of understanding towards the requirements of others.

Fox has since gone on to increase a relationship with cross-genre performing artist and actor Machine Gun Kelly – real name Colson Baker – and lately started up to fellow mom Kelly Clarkson about the “weird pressure” of being an employed mom in showbiz.

“As an artist, it’s just very ruthless because you can’t be on camera once you’re beyond a particular stage of pregnancy,” she said. “Also, once you have the child it’s like ‘Okay, well you’re going to have to start to feed every 2 hours and that requires our money and now we’re dealing with security.’ It becomes this huge thing.”

“Hollywood is not adjusted to women and us having lived and being moms,” Fox continued in an obvious play to put head honchos on notice to the ever-changing landscape.
