The Bold Type has an amazing cast ensemble including Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee, and Meghann Fah. The show is currently in the news as it made its debut yesterday,e., May 26, 2021.
The bad news here is that it is not releasing on Netflix but this doesn’t mean that we don’t have any good news for the fans. Aisha Dee who plays the role of Kat Edison recently described the finale season in just 6 words which completely took our heart away.
We all can admit that we have been emotionally attached to the series and its characters Kat, Sutton Brady, and Jane Sloan. Obviously bidding goodbye to the show won’t be easy as it has given us some sweet little memories. We have to understand that the show can’t go on forever.

The Bold Type is originally a Freeform and Hulu series but its past four seasons are available to stream on Netflix. There is no official update about its fifth season having a release on Netflix. This means that fans who live outside of the US have to wait till Netflix airs this season.
Season 5 which is also the finale season of The Bold Type is available to stream on Hulu and Freeform. The show will once again focus on Jane Sloan, Kat Edison, and Sutton Brandy and their personal lives.
Although, they won’t be alone as they are joined by a new cast member. This season will be our last journey on the show and also contains the minimum number of episodes as compared to other seasons.
Nikohl Boosheri will be seen coming back to season 5 after she left abruptly in-between seasons 4. She plays the role of Adena El-Amin, a Muslim lesbian photographer and is Kat’s on-off girlfriend.
They both met through work at Scarlet. When Adena met Kat she was already in a three-year-old relationship but as we saw, they came close quite quickly. But, they were not able to carry on this relationship and broke up.
