Samurai Shodown Finally Launches on June 14th for Steam

Samurai Shodown Updates: Samurai Shodown is launching soon for Steam. The launch is on the 14th of June. Shiro Tokisada Amasuka will also be available as part of Season Pass 3.

It is been almost two years since this title launched initially on Xbox One and PS4. It had really been a long wait for other users like those who were on Steam. They were waiting for it to launch, and now it’s finally here.

SNK’s Samurai Shodown is now finally coming to Steam. The developers confirmed that the PC version of the game would be out on the 14th of June. Not only that, but a new DLC character named Shiro Tokisada Amakusa would also be featured with this one. And if you see, this one will be the third character in Season Pass 3.

It has been a bit annoying for the Steam users. But it took a really long time for the title to come on Steam. No indication of a Steam release was ever provided. It seems that the exclusivity agreement for the PC version is ending soon. We’ll have to see how it all goes.

Let’s talk about this new character. This one is the third DLC character to join and is named Shiro Tokisada Amakusa. It has been voiced by Shusaku Shirakawa.

Alaska originally appeared in the first game as a boss character. And from there onwards, he has appeared in Samurai Shodown 3, Samurai Shodown 6, and several other spinoff titles in between.

SNK has previously confirmed that it would be a character from Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear series, but till now hasn’t revealed which.

The PC version of the the Game arrived in the June of 2020 on the Epic Games store.
