Samsung Galaxy S20 & Note 20 To Feature Dual Recording Camera With Latest Patch Update

Samsung Galaxy S20 & Note 20 Updates: One of the most exciting camera features that were introduced on the Galaxy S21 lineup was the Director’s View. The shooting mode in the director’s view allows you to see the video feed from the switch between the primary rear camera while recording videos to the front camera at the same time.

Samsung Galaxy S20 & Note 20: Previously when Samsung updated the

Previously when Samsung updated the Galaxy flagship phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 lineups, with some of the Galaxy S21 camera features, it did not include the director’s view. The feature was not made available to all the flagship models of the Samsung except the Galaxy S21 series, however, Samsung did roll out a somewhat toned-down version to the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series with the latest software update on these devices.

All those users who have received this update which also includes May 2021 security patch, on their Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20, or Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will find a new mode in-camera called dual recording. As it says, this mode will enable you to record the video from both the front and the primary camera at the same time, with feed from one of the two cameras visible in a form of a small window at the top which can be moved around your display on your wish.

As of now, it is unclear whether this update is headed on to other flagships like Galaxy S20 FE and Samsung’s foldable phones, but as of yet, this is no confirmation. For now, it seems if you do own a Galaxy 20 or Note 20 series of smartphone, you should be able to download the recent security patch update which will be rolled out to your devices soon, all you need to do is to click on Settings> software update> install update. Though it may take few days before the update arrives so all you can do is to wait patiently as the patch update reaches you.
