Denise and Alicia reunite in their previous country home at the end of Season 3 on Master of None. Although both protagonists are married to other women and have children, they maintain their romance. One of Ansari’s colleagues, who was a sperm donor to a lesbian couple, provided the basis for Season 3’s plot.
According to Deadline, Ansari and Waithe have always wanted to develop a romantic tale centered on Denise, so the upcoming season is focused on the obstacles they must overcome to have a kid, especially as two queer women of colour.
Denise will most likely be the focus of Master of None Season 4, just as Dev was in the first two seasons. Dev has been having marriage troubles of his own, according to Master of None season 4, and currently lives with his parents in Queens.
