Top Chef Season 18 Updates: It’s hard to decide to decide that whom do I want to win in Top Chef : Portland and actually it is everyone. Sadly, my this wish can’t be granted as there will be just one winner who will take the title of Top Chef and the rest will be runner-up no matter how good they are. The franchise of Top Chef is quite attractive due to it’s competition.
Top Chef : Portland is the latest and eighteenth season of the American television series franchise. This season has been filmed in Portland and it’s surrounding areas and premiered on April 1, 2021.
The winner will take $250,000 along with him or her. All the safety measures and protocols were followed during filming of the show. The show stars 18 chefs who have their own set of culinary skills. Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons function as judge.
The show premiered on Bravo in 2016 and was an instant hit. In earlier seasons you can easily see arrogant chefs and telegenic girls. These chefs used to clash with each other so often.
In season 2 such things increased so drastically that one chef had to be exempted from the show. With new seasons, the contestants became more kind and lovable.

The diversity of selected chefs was great. Franchise was able to select some great personalities ranging from young to experienced and down to earth personalities.
We can say that the quality of contestants has increased with each passing season. Now, contestants can be seen behaving like family with each other.
There a whole lot of reasons that we can think responsible for this change. It might be possible that people were happy during the shooting that they were able to step out of their homes amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
It might also be possible that the pandemic had nothing to do with it and the producers just came to cross paths with the greatest and kindest chefs of all times.
The changes in the show make it more fun and exciting to watch. It is heartbreaking to watch the elimination rounds and wish bye to your favorites’. I wish they could stay in the show forever.
