Virgin River Season 3 Updates: VIRGIN RIVER is under production for its upcoming season, and the series has just released its first look at some exciting new additions to the cast. Netflix subscribers have just been given their first look at the upcoming third installment of the popular romance series Virgin River.
The show’s official Instagram page stunned fans of the series by confirming two new characters, including the daughter of Lilly (played by Lynda Boyd).
The first pictures of Stacey Farber and Kai Bradbury playing their respective characters have been released. Stacey Farber will join the series as Lilly’s daughter Tara, while Bradbury will play a new character Virgin River was reprised for a new season, and the third installment last year after last season was ended in a cliffhanger. Production was started immediately after, with season three was expected to release in 2021. Virgin River is currently filming in British Columbia.
Carr’s novel-based series shows the small-town romance between newcomer Mel Monroe and Jack Sheridan that attracted the fans. Season two had a new addition to the cast in the form of Lizzie, who quickly fell in love with a local bartender Ricky.
As updated on Instagram it’s now speculated Virgin River has a heartwarming couple.
Tara played by Stacey Farber commented on the new post with love emojis depicting her role could have a romantic angle. The Canadian actress had a long-running role as Ellie Nash in the drama series for teen, Degrassi: The Next Generation.
She was also a part of The CW’s latest superhero hit Superman & Lois, and also was cast as the main role in Diggstown. Kai Bradbury recently also had his big break when he landed his first big role in last year’s supernatural military drama, Fort Salem. He had featured in some minor roles including Lucifer, The Boys, and Altered Carbon.
Instagram users and the fans of the show were excited to be given the first look and a sneak peek at the cast of Virgin River season 3. Tagging Stacey Farber one fan replied by saying that the actress was a gem of an actress back in his earlier days too.
Fans were quick to interpret what Tara and Denny’s relationship future holds.
Currently, no release date for the new season has been confirmed, but fans are keen for the announcements as production continues in British Columbia.
