Ragnarok Season 2 Updates: Netflix’s Norweign Tv drama Ragnarok has been officially issued a season 2. The story is set in the fictional town of Edda in Horadland.
The town suffers from industrial pollution and climate change. The cause of this pollution and climate change are the factories that re owned by the jutul family. The jutuls are the fifth richest family in all of Norway.
However we come to find that the members of the jutul family are characters from the Norse mythology living among humans in disguise. They are however challenged by Magne ,who is a teenage boy who later comes to find out is an embodiment of Thor.
The season 2 of Ragnarok is set to show up on Netflix on Thursday May 27,2021.The series will pick up after the incidents of the firsts season.
What to expect from Ragnarok Season 2
At the finale of the first season we saw how magne finally found the leader of the jutul family, vidar. After an intense battle with vidar, we saw magne hitting vidar and himself by calling a lightening bolt from the sky. The result of this left magne unconscious.Although what happened to vidar is still unknown.
Though we have seen only the giants that are in the jutul family. However season 2 could introduce us to more characters from the Norse mythology.
There is also the scope of development in the character of Laurits. The character of laurits is one of difficult origin as he is the embodiment of Loki. Loki is known as the god of trickery in norse mythology. In the series Magne and laurits are brothers. This is similar to the fact that according to norse mythology thor and loki are laso brothers Despite all this he is a frost giant so it isn’t sure in which way the directors will approach with his character.
The cast of Ragnarok Consists of David Stakston (Magne),Jonas Strand Gavali(Laurits),Danu Santh(Iman),Theresa Frostad Eggesbo (saxa),Herman Tømmeraas (Fjor), Emma Bones (Gry), Henriette Steenstrup, Odd-Magnus Williamson, Synnøve Macody Lund, Bjørn Sundquist and Gísli Örn Garðarsson.
The new members that will be joining the franchise in season 2 are going to be (Harry), Billie Barker (Signy), Jesper Malm (Odd Moland) and Espen Sigurdsen (Halvor Lange),Vebjorn enger(jens) and Benjamin Helstad.
