Food Wars Updates: Food Wars!: Third and Fourth Seasons are the third and fourth seasons of the culinary shonen series Food Wars! The plot twists in Shokugeki no Soma were not only for protagonist Soma Yukihira.
Azami Nakiri had returned to Totsuki with the intention of using his daughter Erina as a shield to seize control of the whole school and its cooking scene. As a result, Central was born.
Soma and his friends fought back with all they had, but it was an uphill struggle, and Azami began expelling one defiant student after another.
But, in the end, he committed to a huge cooking contest in which his eight best Central students will face the eight best rebel students (including Erina), with the winning side getting their way. This was the Regiment de Cuisine combat, and the story of Food Wars! will never be the same after that.
1. Megumi Tadokoro exemplifies how a character does not have to win to evolve. Megumi had been a meek student afflicted with self-doubt previous to attending the Regiment de Cuisine.
She learned to stand up for herself after becoming friends with Soma Yukihira, and she defeated Ryo Kurokiba in the Autumn Elections. Later, she faced Momo Akanegakubo of Central, a dessert expert, and put her experience to good use.
Even if she lost to Momo in the end, Megumi’s ability to challenge an Elite Ten member on her own turf is impressive. Her resourcefulness and competitive motivation surpass Soma’s, rendering her a strong contestant in every culinary competition.
CBR2. Some of the most drastic changes in the Regiment de Cuisine war include Erina and her father Azami. Fear, power, and anger had characterized their relationship, but Erina was finally willing to fight for her independence.
In the Regiment de Cuisine final battle, Erina and her rival Soma faced Rindo Kobayashi and Tsukasa Eishi in a 2v2 to determine the whole match.
Erina’s dish, inspired by the excitement and imagination of all her new friends, had such tremendous influence that it compelled Azami’s capacity, the Gifting, to be published.
Everyone’s clothing shoots off in shockwaves of adrenaline as a result of this borderline magical event. Azami didn’t want to admit it, but Erina’s dish was an imaginative and joyful dish of the highest order, and he couldn’t help but express his approval with his forceful Gifting. As a result, he rated Erina’s dish higher than Central’s, and the rebels triumphed.
CBR3. Erina finally broke away from Azami’s clutches. She had just been hiding from him while studying at Totsuki up until now, but Azami was forced to leave in an utter loss this time, and Erina can finally take hold of her own destiny.
Her future is brilliant, and what happens next will astound Erina and the whole audience. Erina is about to take on a high-ranking role in the culinary world.
CBR4. Totsuki had a major power void with Azami Nakiri and his Core organization both gone, and the former dean, Senzaemon Naikiri, wasn’t going to fill it.
Instead, considering her youth and reputation as a student, Soma Yukihira declared Erina Nakiri to be the new dean.
CBR5. The status of the Council of Ten was still up for discussion. Many of the third-year candidates, including Rindo and Tsukasa, were on the verge of graduating, leaving a few seats available for newcomers.
Soma had long wished to be a member of the Council, and now he and his friends were in the running to join this exclusive group. Soma and his comrades avoided deportation by winning the Regiment de Cuisine and proving their merit at the same time.
