Jennifer Lopez Accepts Icon Award and Much more

Jennifer Lopez accepts the icon award: In the music and acting industry, Jennifer Lopez is now seen as an icon, which is precisely why she was awarded the Icon Award at the December 10, Billboard Women in Music ceremony.

The multi-hyphenate is still known by people as a fashion model, but J.Lo opted to turn it back as she acknowledged her coveted award via film.

As she gave her acceptance speech, J.Lo wore a woven knit cardigan, but she applied a bit of glam by wearing shimmery silver eyeshadow on her beautiful and ageless lips.

At the 15th annual celebration, JLo will be honored with the Icon Award for her impact on the music industry and the greater artistic community. On May 11, 1999, the then-actress/dancer released her first single If You Had My Love from her debut album On The 6 and it went straight to number one.

In a season where things were cut down and monitored due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the precautions that have been going along with award shows, Jennifer has crushed her red carpet look.

This is the second icon honor for JLo, as she won the designation on Nov. 15 at the 2020 People’s Choice Awards. Her impressive abs showed off the crop top and her skirt went around the curves of the singer and featured a slit all the way up to the peak of her thigh.

But it was nothing compared to the black sheer catsuit she was sporting on stage singing Pa Ti and Lonely. JLo is still at the top of her game after over 20 years in the music industry.

In addition to her acting successes, Jennifer is already giving back this holiday season in a major way: beginning in January, the New York native is working with Yoplait to help provide funds through the Lids to Feed America campaign to food banks.

Jennifer said in a release that I have found from my experience with them that milk is one of the most needed but least donated products at food banks.

Dairy is a vital component of helping children thrive, which is why we are starting this initiative to donate funds to Feeding America to provide food, including dairy, to help our communities grow healthier.
