Lucifer: Season 5B release date

Lucifer Season 5B

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, “Lucifer” season, 5 had to be divided into two parts. And while the first half has already been released, fans are eagerly awaiting the second half of the fifth season of “Lucifer”. A start date for “Lucifer” Season 5B has not yet been set.

Showrunner Joe Henderson has brought the sad news that the new episodes will definitely not start in December 2020. So fans have to be prepared for spring 2021.

Lucifer: Trailer for Season 5B

There is no trailer for the new episodes yet. A first trailer at the beginning of 2021 is quite realistic. A first video of the upcoming musical episode is already whetting the appetite for the new episodes.
Lucifer: That’s what Season 5B is about

Since season 5A of “Lucifer” is only an incomplete season so far, there are of course still open storylines that will be told in the second half of season 5. Season 5A was just ending when Amenadiel, Lucifer and Michael were about to attack each other with their wings extended.

They were stopped by their father, God, who of course does not like to see his sons fight. It is unlikely that Michael will continue to play his slouch on earth in the second half of season 5 if God has already interfered. Mazikeen, who sided with Michael to get a soul, should become an even more important part in the upcoming new episodes.

Lucifer: Cast of Season 5B

In the second half of Lucifer Season 5, we will of course see Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar again. Also featured are Lauren German ( “Chicago Fire” ) as Chloe Decker, Kevin Alejandro ( “Arrow” ) as Dan Espinoza, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen, and many more.

As with so many other series productions, the filming of “Lucifer” will soon get rolling again. Production has been in full swing again since October 2020.

The rotation stop also has advantages for fans. Netflix decided not to produce 10 episodes as planned, of which two would now be missing, but to order the 6 additional episodes in order to be able to split the season into two parts of 8 episodes. So you may have to wait longer for the remaining episodes, but there are more.
