The Stand Updates: Actor Amber Heard says it was a great to play a “complex and nuanced” character like Nadine cross in the latest screen adoption of author Stephen’s king book ‘the Stand.’

In the story it follows group of survivor whose lives has been affected by the deadly virus and affects most of the world population. The series is based on the king’s 1978 novel of the same name, ‘The stand.’

After the virus affect the whole word the destiny of the human mankind depends on the 108 year old mother Abagail and few survivor whose life intersect after the affect of deadly virus, and they all gather in Boulder US to fight and establish new social system.

The 34 year old actor, confessed she has been the fan of the king’s book since her childhood and The Stand is one of her most favorite book from her childhood. The series has been started streaming on voot select in India from December 14. The series has been released when the whole world is reeling under coronavirus pandemic.

“Its certainly interesting time now” said Heard. “Its based on a global pandemic that wipes out most of the population of earth and leaves with the best and the worst humanity and exemplifies them in an ultimate battle for the survival of out species. Like how we just don’t survive but how we thrive and come together to do so.”
