Space of Bohemia Updates: Adam Sandler will depict a space explorer in Netflix’s untitled adaptation of Jaroslav Kalfar’s book “The Spaceman of Bohemia.”

The story focuses on a space traveler shipped off the edge of the galaxy to gather perplexing, ancient dust when he discovers his natural earthly life falling apart in pieces.

He goes to the only voice who can assist him in an attempt to assemble it back — a creature from the earliest point of time sneaking in the shadows of his space ship.

The Space of Bohemia: Story

Jaroslav’s sci-fi novel is divided into two parts, written from the point of view of Jakub Prochazka, who is the first indie Czech Republican cosmonaut. He goes on a solo mission set to reach a cloud of “intergalactic dust” in the vicinity of planet Venus- A place no other country wills to go.

Space of Bohemia: Creators

Johan Renck, who has previously directed famous shows like “Chernobyl,” “Last Panthers,” and “Downloading Nancy,” will also be directing The Spaceman of Bohemia. While Colby Day remains the scriptwriter for the show.

Renck described how he’s more than satisfied to have discovered Adam as the perfect actor for the role of this stranded spaceman. He’s also thankful for the help of the splendid Netflix family, eager to set off on this outlandish space show.

Netflix and Adam Sandler: Previous works

Adam Sandler and Netflix have collaborated on about six films up until this point. In January, the OTT service declared that it had expanded its contract with Sandler and his Happy Madison Productions for four additional movies.

It said at the time that Sandler’s “Murder Mystery” was the most famous title on Netflix in the U.S. a year ago. “Murder Mystery,” which co-featured Jennifer Aniston, was Sandler’s 6th Netflix film, including “The Ridiculous 6,” “The Do-Over,” “Sandy Wexler,” “The Week Of” and “Hubie Halloween.”

However, in contrast to common belief, the “Spaceman” project isn’t essential for the Happy Madison deal. The news was first revealed by Deadline Hollywood.
