Dash and Lily Update: The upcoming romantic comedy in the streets of New York, Dash and Lily, just released its official trailer and we can say that the fans of rom coms who had a Peter Kavinsky-Shaped Hole in Their after the not-so-satisfying movie sequel of To All The Boys I’ve Ever Loved Before will, if not completely will at least find a little bit of relief by watching the show.
Dash and Lily: Overview
The executive producers of the upcoming rom-com are Shawn Levy, Josh Barry( popularly known for the TV series Stranger Things, Unsolved Mysteries and I Am Not Okay With This) and also Nick Jonas.
Based on the young adult series, the upcoming eccentric teen romance Dash and Lily follows a cute and interesting storyline of the young Dash( played by Austin Abrams) and Lily( played by Midori Francis) who exchange dares and messages at the iconic strand bookstore through a shared diary.
Like there is conflict in every other drama, and also life for that matter, the conflict in this cute cheesy love story is that Dash is a hard-core pessimist who does not even like the festive season of Christmas whereas Lily is exactly opposite to him. Yes! That’s right, once again opposites attract. Lily being the positive soul that she is believes that she can change Dash’s mind.
The teen rom-com movie has everything that a typical cheesy New York teen love story has ranging from a secret diary to the old-fashioned way of letter writing and obviously not to forget the 34th Street Macy’s.
