Inspired from a bunch of true events of Bill Norcross’s life, the story of The Rookie revolves around a forty-five-year-old divorcee originally from Pennsylvania named John Nolan who now works as a police officer in Los Angeles Police Department.
After the last season of the show ended on a cliff-hanger, the fans are eager to see how John Nolan proves his innocence and Neil Armstrong’s guilt after being left by all his police officers. The last season ended with John determined to find proof against Neil Armstrong when he discovers that he had been working with Suraj Darian.
As of now, there has been no confirmed date regarding the release of the third sequel of the show. However, keeping the love and support the show has received from its huge fan following in mind and also the positive reviews from the people we are certain that the show will return for another season which will hopefully consist of 20 episodes just like the others.
