The God of High School Updates: A South Korean manhwa designated to a webtoon release. Ingeniously illustrated by Yongje Park, it has been serialized since 2011 and is collectively sorted under the domain of one volume in April 2020 before being taken into consideration for an English dubbed release to pick up a global outreach. Ensuring its official run from July to September 2020, it was being dubbed in English to be distributed by Crunchyroll.

What was the primary storyline of this run?

At the inception, it pulled back the curtain on the story with humans, demons, and gods cohabitating on Earth which is distorted upon the relatively infirm humans borrowing powers from the gods to fend off the demons’ overrule. Shortly after that, they are severed into three realms; namely The Human Realm, The Sage Realm, and The Heavenly Realm.

Later it evolves as a martial arts expert, Mori Jin joins the Martial Arts Tournament entitled with the titular name, hosted by a confidant corporation that agglomerates high-schooler from all over South Korea, luring them with a promise of catering to their wishes as a gratuity.

However as the competition intensifies, Mori faces-off different contenders enforcing their unique tactics and also those appertaining to their “Borrowed power “. He along with his new-founded allies; Full-Contact Karate expert Daewi Han and epeeist master Mira Yoo join forces as a Korean Team pitted against the antagonistic teams as the tournament moves past the preliminary rounds.

Who was the voice-over cast for this dubbed version?

Crunchyroll also divulged details about the cast, originally enclosed with its official tweet. The central trio favorites were dubbed by Robbie Daymond, vocalizing for Jin Mori, Veronica Taylor for that of Yu Mira, and Sean Chiplock for Han Daewi.
