The neo-Western craze isn’t something unheard of, especially after the roaring success of Yellowstone. Outer Range stars Josh Brolin as Royal Abbott, a suave rancher whose land is threatened by vicious rivals. Once Royal finds that there is a mysterious hole in one of his pastures, things take a dangerous turn.
Outer Hat pivots beautifully into a science fiction mystery wearing a cowboy hat, whilst mashing up genres for an adventure that involves time traveling, indigenous mysticism, and probably even an interesting link between Heaven and Hell. Talk about going on a wild goose hunt!
Outer Range Season 2 Release Date
The debut season of the series was back in 2022- thus after a long break, the second season of Outer Range finally has a release date. The Outer Range Season 2 will consist of seven episodes, one fewer than the first season, which had eight long episodes.
All seven episodes are due to be available on May 16, 2024. The all-at-once drop is different from the rollout of the first season.

What Is the Series About?
The first season started off as a murder mystery-cum-family drama, quickly before revealing its true form as a time-travelling science fiction series.
The story revolves around Wyoming rancher Royal Abbott, who finds a massive round hole in the ground of his pasture, which ultimately disrupts the life of his family.
Things get increasingly complicated when his rival neighbors – the Tillerson’s, suspect that the Abbott’s are responsible for the murder of the eldest Tillerson son.
Now about the second season, we don’t know a lot about what’s going to happen in the second season.
However, the first season has carefully laid a foundation that has set the basis for a full mystery and this comes in full force in the second season with twists and turns, liberating character journeys.
