The award-winning, cooking legend Gordon Ramsay will be returning as a host and judge alongside celebrated chef Aaron Sanchez, and renowned restauranteur Joe Bastianich when MasterChef returns for its Season 14 this summer on FOX, exclusively.
Ramsay had told Variety that he was rather happy about the 250-episode milestone, “I cannot believe 250 episodes have flown by since we started this journey in 2010.”
He went on to mention that he saw absolute growth of home-cooking firsthand over the past 13 years and the journey has been nothing short of extraordinary and of course, a ‘testament to the power of the show’.
MasterChef’s thirteenth season theme was all about the United States of America with the U.S divided into regions with home chefs from every region cooking up whatever their portion of the country was renowned for; of course, the winner would be taking home a grand cash prize of $250,000 and undoubtedly, the title of ‘America’s MasterChef’.
In season 13, MasterChef made some interesting analytics – an average of 3.1 to 4.6 million viewers making it the largest multiplatform audience of any Fox series.
These statistics are a point of pride for Fox especially since other networks shy away from the cooking genre due to a large part of its partnership with Ramsay on ‘MasterChef’ and ‘MasterChef Junior’, ‘Hell’s Kitchen’, ‘Next Level Chef’ etc.
